Lardini is a brand founded in 1978 in Ancona, a port city on the Adriatic Sea in Italy. It is an original brand established by utilizing a suit factory that has been producing products for world-famous fashion houses for over 30 years and its high sewing skills. It is now one of the largest factory brands in Italy, with 400 people producing products by hand every day. Since 2007, it has belonged to an association called the "Consortium for the protection of the Made in Italy", which certifies that Lardini products are completely Italian-made in every manufacturing process.
Also in 2010, Umberto Cantarelli, who has consulted with numerous global fashion brands, was welcomed into the creative team, and Luigi LARDINI was appointed creative director.
