Maison Kitsuné is a brand founded in Paris by Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki in 2002. They first met on a trip to Japan.

The "KITSUNE" in MAISON KITSUNE comes from the Japanese word for "fox." Foxes have transformed into many different things since ancient times and are said to be gods with many faces, and this has been incorporated into the brand concept.
