The Puzzle bag is the first bag designed by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson for Loewe. The unique design of the Puzzle bag is made up of geometric lines and a square shape, created with precision cutting techniques. It is made from classic calfskin.

The company started out by making leather jewelry boxes for aristocrats and the wealthy, then expanded into bags and trunks. In 1872, German craftsman Enrique LOEWE Roessberg came to Madrid and joined the leather processing workshop. In 1975, the company released the Amazona bag, which remains a staple item to this day. From 1998-1999 A/W, the company reached a new turning point with the appointment of Narciso Rodriguez as creative director. Since then, the company has mainly released ready-to-wear in Paris. In 2010, the company released the Leather Icon Collection, a ready-to-wear leather clothing line. In 2012, the Amazona Atelier, an order system for Amazona, was launched.
