Ermenegildo Zegna is a globally renowned Italian fashion brand founded by Ermenegildo Zegna in 1910. Its headquarters are in Milan. In the late 19th century, Angelo Zegna began weaving wool. His youngest son, Ermenegildo Zegna, was born in 1892 and established a fabric factory in 1910, marking the beginning of Ermenegildo Zegna S.A. (Zegna S.A.). Zegna fabrics began to be exported to the United States in 1938, and by 1940 were being sold in over 40 countries.
In the 1960s, Ermenegildo's sons Angelo and Aldo took over the business, starting a ready-to-wear business in 1968 and a pattern-made business in 1972. In the 1980s, they opened independent brand stores in Milan and Paris. Currently, Ermenegildo Zegna is sold in 555 stores in over 80 countries and regions, of which 311 are directly managed stores.
